The Tempered Room is Toronto's premium Parisian pâtisserie, café, catering kitchen and event space. It's owned and operated by Parisien pastry chef Bertrand Alépée and it has quickly become one of my favourite places to chill-out and get work done in the Toronto.
One of my favourite treats at The Tempered Room are the almond croissants. They're like nothing you've ever tasted before and will ruin future almond croissant experiences elsewhere. They're warmed up, soft on the inside, crispy on the outside and they will keep you coming back for more and more. Complimented with an americano it's a perfect morning or mid afternoon snack.
